WESTVILLESELECTED WORK

PHOTO & VIDEO PRODUCTION

The project

Photo and video work for Westville’s seasonal menus, catering, campaigns and social channels, including nine photoshoots from June 2025 to August 2026.

What I did

Working through Hudson Creative, I planned and directed the photoshoots: shot lists, kitchen prep lists, props, models, surfaces and setups. The photographer took the final photographs. To promote dine-in across organic and paid social, I sourced the videographer and models, wrote scripts and helped direct the videos.

I staged the happy hour shoot at the bar and by the open windows, and directed the cocktails, tap pours and toasts across the table.

I set the summer menu on a sage backdrop with a red-check picnic spread and directed close, bright shots of each dish.

I wrote a master shot list with the angle for every dish across the August specials, fall menu and catalog reshoots, plus a kitchen prep list, then gave each group its own surface: yellow for the August specials, a fall tablescape with hands reaching in, and wood for the catalog shots.

I set the catering shoot in a real office, with trays down a conference table and people serving themselves. I sourced and hired the models to make the scene feel like coworkers sharing lunch during a workday.

I styled the winter menu on pale blue with evergreen branches and paper snowflakes, and added forkful close-ups and brunch plates carried to the table.

I sourced the models and directed a lifestyle shoot at the new Upper East Side location, built around shared dining for campaign and everyday social use.

I set the spring specials on a flowered tablescape and directed overhead spreads with hands reaching in. The same shoot produced the hot chocolate and snowy storefront photos for the snowstorm promotion.

I developed all three concepts: the summer menu on a striped cloth, brunch around a game of cards, and a picnic on a checked blanket on the grass. I directed the shoot, including the lighting, to give every setup a bright summer feeling.

I styled the fall menu on a sage backdrop with squash and fresh produce, including an armful of vegetables to show where the food starts.
