WESTVILLESELECTED WORK

CLARENDON CREATOR PROGRAM

The project

Five local creator collaborations to build dine-in awareness for Westville Clarendon, sourced through a scraping workflow I built to find active food accounts in the area.

What I did

I built an Apify scraping workflow to find local creators, filtered and ranked the accounts, ran outreach and coordinated each collaboration around a specific reason to visit.

Creator partnerships

I ran Apify’s Instagram Hashtag Scraper and Instagram Scraper on Clarendon and Arlington location tags and on local food hashtags such as #arlingtonva, #clarendonva and #dcfoodie, pulling the most recent posts for each.

I then ran every unique account from those posts through Apify’s Instagram Profile Scraper for follower count, bio, business category and contact details.

  1. Collect posts

Location tags and local food hashtags, most recent posts first.

  2. Build profiles

Followers, bio, category and contact details for every unique account.

  3. Filter

Accounts that post from the area, post food regularly, are active and fit a neighborhood restaurant’s reach.

  4. Shortlist and outreach

A hand review of recent posts, a ranked shortlist, then outreach for the Clarendon collaborations.

Four reasons to visit

I built each collaboration around one reason to visit Clarendon: spring dining, the patio, brunch or happy hour, covering both a weekend meal and drinks after work. The creators made their own posts for their own audiences.
